Instead of hanging curtains in the arched windows, we decided to take the curtain into the room. The textile gently filters the light and creates a dreamy space in between the actual window and the Paravent in front of it.

PROJECT GOALS

The textile is removed from the window. In this way, the beautiful arched windows are not destroyed by devices for curtains. The room divider places the curtains in the room.

ABOUT PROJECT

Although the curtain frames must cover quite some expanse, they should be quiet and do not dominate the room.

The Paravent gives protection to not be seen from the neighbours but doesn't dim the room. The heavy wheel has two functions: at first it's designed to be moved between the different windows. Secondly, the wheel is very heavy to stabilise the frame laterally.
